FAQ – Appointment of Advisors

A :   1. Student login to GRAD MIS and fill in the name of the adviser to be appointed.
       2. Student prints out DGC06 and Advisor Appointment forms; submit to your School.
       3. After the forms have been approved by Program committee, School Postgraduate committee and Dean. Office of the Postgraduate Studies will appoint the advisor on GRAD MIS system.

A : Student can fill their names without their academic positions.
     For example, Assistant Professor Dr. Suwanna Deachathai, type “Suwanna”, then have the option to add the advisor

A :  1.Student login to GRAD MIS and print out DGC15; submit to your school

      2.After the documents have been approved Program committee, School Postgraduate committee and Dean. Office of the Postgraduate Studies will change the name of the advisor on GRAD MIS system.

A :  If an advisor has a doctoral degree or equivalent and has academic works in accordance with regulation, that person can be an advisor of no more than 15 master’s degree students.

A :  The external experts can be the co-advisor. However, they must be qualified and have academic work in accordance with Mae Fah Luang University Regulation Subject: Postgraduate Studies B.E. 2560.
