Exemption of the English proficiency tests
Exemption of the test may be given to the following cases;
1) English Native speaking students: by considering from origin and educational background
2) Exchanged students from the partner universities / MOU with English proficiency test requirements upon enrollment.

Student for a Master’s degree program
1. The scores are not lower than the English proficiency tests to complete graduate studies.
2. In case the applicant has a lower score on the English language proficiency test or does not have the English result, able to study Academic English for Graduate Studies 1.

Applicants for doctoral degree programs
1. The scores are not lower than the criteria specified in the English Proficiency Criteria for the graduate studies students applicants.
2. In case the applicant has a lower score on the English language proficiency test for admission or does not have the English result, able to study with conditions.
By submitting the results not lower than the admission criteria or you can study Academic English for Graduate Studies 1 (AE1) and
must pass the exam in the course within the first semester that your enrollment.
3. In the case that the applicant has passed the Academic English for Graduate Studies 1 “S”, and not more than 2 years since the result announcement date.
Applicants can use the results and able to study in a doctoral program
Applicants for a Master’s degree program
English Proficiency test for students seeking a master’s degree must follow their curriculum’s TQF 2.
These criteria must be equal to or greater than those announced in the English Proficiency Criteria for the graduate studies students applicants.
However, some curricula may not require an English Proficiency test.
Note.
* The English Proficiency Test result should not exceed 2 years from the exam date.
** Applicants to graduate studies must submit a qualifying English language score to the Registrar Division or Global Relations Division.
*** Otherwise, he/she is not qualified for the program

The Process of Comparing the Results
AE Study conditions and MFU-TEP Examination
1. The University will arrange the English Language Proficiency Standards Test (MFU-TEP), which is administered by the School of Liberal Arts for each examination.
2. Students must pay the MFU-TEP examination fee of 1,000 baht per time, and the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
3. If the student does not pass the criteria and would like to register to study English Academic English for Graduate as follows:
(1) Ph.D. student (For students enrolled in the academic year 2017 onwards)
– To study Academic English for Graduate Studies 2
(2) Master’s degree student (For students enrolled in the academic year 2017 onwards)
– To study Academic English for Graduate Studies 1
Academic English for Graduate Studies 1 and 2
Application Procedure
1. Download and complete the application
2. Pay the application fee of 3,000 Baht. Payment can be made either by cash at the Division of Finance and Accounting, Mae Fah Luang University, or by bank transfer to the University’s bank account 672-0-10817-1, Bank of Bangkok Public Company Limited, Mae Fan Luang University Branch.
3. Submit the application form to the School of Liberal Arts, E1 Building (E1-219) on Monday-Friday from 9 A.M.- 4 P.M. or
The School of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, 9 A.M.-4 P.M. daily.
Bangkok Co-ordinating Office, 9 A.M.-4 P.M. daily.
4. Announcement of Registration Check at the Office of the Postgraduate Studies Website.

Application Procedure
1. Download and complete the application
2. Applicants must complete the application form including a photo with the application and pay the application fee of 1,000 Baht. Payment can be made either by cash at the Division of Finance and Accounting,
Mae Fah Luang University, or by bank transfer to the University’s bank account 672-0-10817-1, Bank of Bangkok Public Company Limited, Mae Fan Luang University Branch.

Test Policy
1. Prior to the test, applicants must check the test location and seating.
2. Applicants must be present at the test site at least 30 minutes before the test starts.
3. The test will start at 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
4. The proctors will NOT allow applicants to enter the test room if any applicant shows up after 9:30 AM.
5. Applicants will NOT be allowed to leave the test room before 11:00 AM.
6. If any cheating behavior is found, applicants will be asked to stop testing with no test refund.
