FAQ – Qualifying Examination

A :   1. Check if the student has qualifications in accordance with Mae Fah Luang University Regulation Subject: Postgraduate Studies B.E.2560 (No. 67).
       2. Login to GRAD MIS, select DGC05, fill date time in the form and print out DGC05.
       3. Sign the form DGC05 and send to General Advisor, School Postgraduate Committee and Dean, for signature, respectively.
       4. Submit DGC05 at the Office of the Postgraduate Studies.
       5. Check student names who are eligible to take qualifying examination on website Office of the Postgraduate Studies, https://postgrads.mfu.ac.th/

A :   Students must apply for the second exam. The steps areas follows.
       1. Login to GRAD MIS, Select DGC05, fill date time in the form and print out DGC05.
       2. Sign in the form DGC05 and send to General Advisor, School Postgraduate Committee and Dean, for signature, respectively.
       3. Bring DGC05 to the division of finance and accounting to pay the fee for the second exam, 2,000 baht.
       4. Submit DGC05 and receipt at the Office of the Postgraduate Studies.
       5. ตCheck student names who are eligible to take qualifying examination on website Office of the Postgraduate Studies, https://postgrads.mfu.ac.th/

A :  Students can check the results of the exam in GRAD MIS, https://mfugradmis.mfu.ac.th/

A :  1. Student (Id 60xxx backwards) must take the first qualifying examination within 3 semesters from the first semester of study. The students must pass the qualifying examination within 6 semesters from the first semester of study; otherwise, their student status will be revoked. 
      2. Student (Id 60xxx onwards) must take the first qualifying examination within 4 semesters from the first semester of study. The students must pass the qualifying examination within 6 semesters from the first semester of study; otherwise, their student status will be revoked.

A : No, students can apply for the qualifying examination whether they pass the proposal examination or not.
